Most of you know about the annual tea party that I plan each January after the holidays. The event was planned to give a few lady friends a much needed stress reliever from the holidays. We could sip tea and just enjoy each others company. Oh and did I mention the teacup exchange?
Great minds think alike, my friend NaShara of Chicole::Intermixed is planning Glitz and Glam: A Holiday Tea Party. Her tea party is a way for women to take a break from all of the holiday stress BEFORE it all starts. The The event will offer tips on hair, makeup, fashion, financial and mental all while empowering Dress for Success. The menu itself has my mouth watering. On a side note, NaShara is one excellent Makeup Artist. I had the honor of having her donate her services to The Bridal Photo Shoot a few weeks ago. What a great idea ... a tea party. Who do you usually invite?
Thanks so much for leaving a comment! The tea party is an awesome time. It started out 8 years ago with old & new friends - about 30. Now, we have about 50 attendees (last year) and friends invite their friends. It is a GREAT time to meet new friends and catch up with old friends as well as networking.
I'll post pictures once the event is over. I wish you were closer - I'd love to have you come!
